GNOD (UK) — Two decades of shifting skin, evolving from shamanic drone rituals into a bludgeoning, cataclysmic force of protest. Their sound is a trance-inducing maelstrom: nihilistic, euphoric, and designed to deconstruct the listener. Only forward motion at full volume.
zeug (Berlin) — Forged for a decade in the industrial depths of the Gaswerksiedlung, this drone-punk trio brings pure physical pressure. A hypnotic, heavy-gravity force that transforms a performance into a shared bodily experience.
A shared trip of repetition and defiance. The air will be thick, the volume will be absolute.

To celebrate 20 years of GNOD and 10 years of zeug, the Berlin based artist Sonya Kurilo designed and hand printed special merch.
Sonya is an interdisciplinary artist working across printmaking, painting and textile-based techniques.
The white T-shirts are 100% cotton and the designs are printed using fabric ink. The back motif is based on a 15th-century depiction of the Last Judgement. The various dudes on the front were found in the 1240s encyclopaedia by Thomas Cantimpratensis, Liber de natura rerum.

Since the start in 2010 when most of the members were still in high school they have challenged even the most trained listeners with their unique compositions. After a hiatus after their second album “Contrapasso” they returned in 2023 with critically acclaimed “SUMMIT”. The album was hailed by many as one of the finest releases of 2023 in the world of progressive rock/metal.
The band has released three highly praised studio albums with the debut “City of the Sun” celebrating a full decade this year being released in 2014.
Sophomore “Contrapasso” expanded the sound into a darker and gloomy path but without losing any colours. “SUMMIT” captures both of the first two albums and elevates the compositions to the very summit of their musicality.
Seven Impale are slowly growing into the very elite of the world prog scene. Be sure to be present at their Berlin debut!

This summer of 2023, while working on their 1st LP, the Berlin dronepunk band zeug did a small getting together at their home-studio - Gaswerksiedlung. Here is a short glimpse of the upcoming live videos of the live set in the small circle of the close friends. In the near future, the band is re-activating their Patreon page and starting a crowdfunding campaign for the recording of our first LP. A double vinyl and a few beautiful extras are coming on top.

this is Vlad writing. For those, who don't know – i am the person who is standing behind BeyondBooking.
I must have said something yesterday, but I was speechless, and any words seemed to be pointless. But keeping the silence is a commitment of being a part of the crime. First they came for the socialists...
Round about 2016 I started BB as a way to bring bands from Russia and Ukraine to Berlin/Europe and help them to meet local people and artists. I truly believe that music prevails, and it is a sanctuary for any human being. I also hope, it continues to bond people and not to separate them, and that it still gives consolation and comforts one or another.
I had a chance to tour in Ukraine in 2017, I spent many summers of my adolescence there, the ones who know my surname, know that it is a Ukrainian one. There was never fucking ever any hate or oppression of Russians or Russian speaking there. This is a lie, which Russian 'government' keeps on spreading.
This is not my Russia.
I did not choose this 'government'.
And this is not the war of Russians.
This is a war of an old psychopathic moron, a war criminal, whose days are hopefully numbered.
I despise any authority and putin ruined my country and right now he ruins another one, with blood and fire.
My choice to move to Berlin was not politically reasoned, but my staying here is hell of political right now.
When this nightmare is over, I try my best to give the priority to the Ukrainian bands.
In the meantime – if anyone knows any trustful NGOs helping the Ukrainian refugees in Berlin or anywhere in Europe, please let me know.
I wish I could do more.
It's not them, who gonna pay for this but me.

Anton Ponomarev from BROM and Anton Obrazeena from JARS just dropped one track from their upcoming release MASSACRE. A massive wall of drone done by two astonishing musicians, working somewhere between noise-rock, free jazz, punk and ambient.
Their debut album will be published on the 29th of January by the American label UTECH RECORDS.

On the 9th of July zeug packed up their gear and for two days moved into Wasserspeicher – a vast water reservoir built in the middle of the 19th century in the heart of Berlin. It was here where their upcoming EP 'Grounded' was recorded – without any additional production effects, the stone cavern (32 meters in diameter and 8 meters high ceiling) captured a natural reverb decay of 5 seconds.
For the 'Duende' film each participant of the crew was given almost limitless freedom of expression, with the band acting as musical mediators, creating a sonic foundations for the performers. Therefore, what started as just the second zeug's EP release, merged into a complex synthetic piece of art.
As its core ideals zeug praise freedom of expression and the power of improvisation. Throughout this process, time and space took over and became the main influencers, which solidified the music pieces. By allowing the acoustics of Wasserspeicher play a significant role in the sound and treating the space as an instrument in itself - amplifying the collossal sound of zeug - (much to the delight of the local Prenzlauer Berg residents) zeug unintentionally set the architectural and historical context free to shape the music itself.

BADA – a black noise/psych rock Swedish collective from Gothenburg devoted to free improvisation and loud contaminations.
BADA is the sinister creature of Anna von Hausswolff, Hannes Nilsson, David Sabel, Filip Neyman and Gianluca Grasselli.
The sounds of BADA come from various and oppugnant directions: drone landscapes, pipe organs dissonances, tribal rhythms, obscure sliding guitars and deep distorted bass. It is from these diverse sources that the process of creativity keeps persistently mutating. An act which reunites the essential bond between music and physical worlds.
